AIX wine pack wins Israel Star

The wine pack we designed and produced for the AIX wine brand won the Food & Beverage category at Israel Star 2024 — the leading professional competition of Israel's packaging industry. It's direct recognition of the structural, engineering and design work behind every carton that leaves our plant.

The win isn't about decoration — it's about a solution: a carrier and a package merged into a single carton structure that protects the bottle, carries it by hand and presents it as a gift, while saving significant material and shipping volume.

Good packaging doesn't just protect the bottle — it gives it an identity. That's exactly what the judges saw.

01. The win: the Food & Beverage category

At Israel Star 2024, the AIX wine pack was selected as the winner of the Food & Beverage category. The judges — experts in packaging, design, engineering and sustainability — looked for a solution that combines innovation, user experience and sustainability, and the AIX pack answered each one: a smart structure, a clean look and a clear contribution to material reduction.

02. The pack: AIX

The AIX wine pack merges carrier and package into a single carton structure — clean and minimal, in step with the brand's language. Instead of the usual three material layers, it's built from just two: strong and structural, yet leaner — about 13% less raw material and 30% less shipping volume than comparable packs. Less material, less space on the truck, and the same premium feel on the shelf and as a gift.

03. The engineering: two layers instead of three

The savings don't come at the cost of strength. Instead of the three-layer structure common in comparable packs, we engineered a two-layer constructive build that holds the bottle securely and doubles as a carry handle. Less material also means a smaller shipping volume — each pallet carries more units, with fewer emissions along the way. It's a precise example of how smart design turns sustainability from a slogan into numbers.
